Preserve Wisdom, Celebrate Histories, Ignite Change

About Us

ElderView is a mission-oriented company that seeks to preserve the stories and wisdom of older adults through personal interviews. Our goal is to empower and connect generations by sharing these first-hand accounts.

We believe that the memories and experiences of older adults are invaluable. Our team is committed to having in-depth thought provoking conversations to bring out the most meaningful ideas and stories of our customers. By capturing the conversation on film we aim to encapsulate each of our customers lives to create a legacy to last forever.

Founder

ElderView was founded by Andy Greenberger, a graduate of Ohio State University, who came up with the idea after having a dream of his late grandfather, Herb Kraus.

In the dream, he heard his grandfather's voice but quickly realized that this was only his own imagination and that he would never hear his grandpa's voice again. This realization inspired him to start ElderView.

He wants to make sure that the wisdom and lessons learned over a lifetime can continue to be passed on. Through our work, we strive to positively impact older adults' lives and to promote the idea that aging does not have to mean isolation or marginalization.

Herb Kraus

ElderView's inception was inspired by Herb, with the goal of preserving our loved ones' voices, mannerisms, and profound wisdom through film.

Herbert "Herb" Kraus was a skilled dentist, devoted husband, and father of three. Herb was a Renaissance man. He was a musician, painter, woodworker, and an award-winning poet. Using his handyman skills, he built his first boat in his garage. His love for boating and the water took him on many exciting adventures with his family and loved ones.
In addition to his many talents, Herb was a proud veteran, serving in the United States Navy during World War II. His dedication to his country, family, and community will be forever remembered. He is deeply missed, but his legacy lives on through the memories of those who knew and loved him.

Mission Oriented

As we've immersed ourselves in the stories of older adults, we've come to understand the loneliness and financial hardships that many face. In response, we've committed to donating 10% of our profits to initiatives focused on alleviating these burdens.

Elderview's mission goes beyond storytelling – it's about building bridges of support and ensuring a more fulfilling life for those who have contributed so much to our communities.

ElderView is committed to giving back to the community through charitable work. Promising to donate 10% of its profits to charities that help older adults.

Non-Profit Vision

The community center will focus on creating an environment for older adults to create crafts and community. While also providing meals, stipends, and companionship to the people it serves.
Revenue from the sale of crafts created by the older adults at the community center will be a key source of income for the center, with the goal of eventually making the facility financially independent. This will allow the ElderView funding to be used to help establish other community centers across the USA and expand the reach of the program, providing more resources and support to older adults in need.

ElderView aims to open free community centers around the United States to provide companionship, purpose, and support to older adults.
